Worship, Praise and Study with us this Sunday
C H _ _ C H, What's missing ?
"U R". (You are).

In our ministry we have chosen to use the King James Version of the Bible because of its accuracy.
The truth of the word of God is found in the King James Version. (KJV)

Can your Bible stand the test?
Timothy 3:16
What does your Bible say?
Does it say: God was manifest in the flesh?
If it does, you possibly have a Bible that was not based on a corrupt manuscript.
The King James Version of the Bible, has been the best the world has ever possessed, and had been used more than any other Bible, to bring people the knowledge of Christ.
The English as written in the KJV, is in order to preserve Greek and Hebrew texts accurately as it was written.
Thee, thou and thine must be retained in the English Bible, because there is no other way to express second person singular. When the plural is used, it changes the meaning of the original Greek.
- 1st person singular....I; plural....We.
- 2nd person singular...Thou, thee, thy, thine; plural....Ye, you, your.
- 3rd person singular....He, she, it; plural....They.
Another Test
John 5:2
Consider the spelling of the word "Bethesda".
If your Bible spells it differently as "Bethsatha" in the text or in the margin, then you can be sure that your Bible was translated from corrupt manuscripts.
Notice. we are not referring to the "pool" in John 5:2 and not the cities referred to in other passages, which are spelled correctly.
Study to show yourself approved, a workman that needeth not be ashamed.
1 Corinthians 12:1
Now concerning Spiritual Gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
1 Corinthians 12:3
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
Therefore when the Holy Spirit is in operation, a man or woman will always honor Jesus, and He will always be called Lord of mans' Life.
Verse 4
Now there of Diversities of Gifts, but the same Spirit.
The Gifts are given by the Holy Spirit. It is not that we earn them, buy them or attain them because of any special feat that we have performed. A Gift is something given out of love.
That is why God gives them to us. Also to enable us to work for Him.
Prophecy is not the mind or words of man. Prophecy is the mind and words of Christ spoken through His Prophets. Prophecy is one of the Gifts that the Holy Spirit gives to us out of love, and our obedience to serve Him.
Pray for the gift of Prophecy.
Examples and more explanation of Prophecy can be found on the Prophecy page
A corresponding scripture;
Romans 12:6
Having then Gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether Prophecy, let us prophecy according to the proportion of faith.
The Gifts are of the Holy Spirit. Now notice. The administration of the gift is By The Lord.
And there are differences of Administrations, but the same Lord.
There are five kinds of Ministries
Ephesians 4:11
1. Apostles
2. Prophets
3. Evangelists
4. Pastors
5. Teachers
The operation of the Gifts are done by God the Father.
1 Corinthians 12:6
And there are Diversities of Operations, but it is the same God which worketh in all.
A corresponding scripture;
1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is man; and the head of Christ is God.
You will notice that the entire "Godhead" is involved in the use of Gifts, etc. We dare not remove the Father, the Son, or the Holy Ghost.
But the Manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
The manifestation of the Spirit is to help all Christians that need it.
Manifestations of the Spirit
1 Corinthians 12:8-10
Miracles, discerning of spirits, healing, prophecy, wisdom, tongues, interpretation of tongues, knowledge, faith.
The Gifts are given out as God desires them to be given out.
Verse 11
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing every man severally as he will.
It is done as God wills it to be.
1 Corinthians 12:13- 20
Please read...
Christians make up the Body of Christ.
Verse 27
Now ye are the Body of Christ, and members in particular.
1 Corinthians 12:26
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.
You will have love for the other Christians, given you by the Holy Spirit.
If you have the calling of the Lord on your life, the Bible says these things are required of you
Ephesians 4:1-2
Be worthy of your calling. The Bible tells you how.
Lowliness - Never exalt yourself.
Meekness - Moses was the meekest man in the kingdom. That means he did not always desire to be seen, but to please God in all his ways.
Longsuffering - Putting up with certain things, that others might be helped. Don't be easily offended.
Forbear one another - Be patient with other Christians.
Keep the Unity of the Spirit - Don't do anything that will divide the Christians, or cause division among them.
1 Corinthians 12;
Verse 29
Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?
Verse 30
Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with with tongues? Do all interpret?
Verse 31
But covet earnestly the best gifts; and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
Remember. Some people will be Christians for sometime until they receive the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking with other tongues.
When speaking in tongues, you will at times speak in earthly languages, and at other times in angelic languages.
1 Corinthians 13:1
Though I speak with the tongues of men and Angels,..
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
Sometimes people use gifts when they are backsliding.
Gifts of the Holy Spirit only benefit others when the person that uses them shows love.
1 Corinthians 13:8-13
Now we minister in part, but when we are with Christ, then shall we know even as also I am known.
All the gifts we use today will be complete when we see Christ face to face.
1 Corinthians 13:8
We only know some things today, but when we see Christ, that will change.
...but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease;...
Everything in part shall be complete then in the presence of God.
The Soul, Immortality, What is it?
The Soul, The Spirit of the Body explained
Genesis 2:7
...And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 12:5
...And Abram took Sari his wife, and Lot his brother's son and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran: and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan;...
(Souls: above are those that have been converted to the Lord).
Ezekiel 13:8
...And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the woman that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
( It is the souls that Satan wants most of all, as stated in the verse above. He is hunting for souls).
1 Thessalonians 5:23
...And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches us that those things that we cannot see, are greater than those things that can be seen. The body which each of us possesses can be seen, but the soul is invisible to man. Therefore we must believe the Bible when it says we have one.
1 Corinthians 2:11
...For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the Spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
The Spirit that is within man can have knowledge of good or evil, depending on the choice of that man or woman. We need to see to it that the Spirit that is within you is lead by the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, Be ye filled with the Holy Spirit.
The knowledge that you desire your Spirit to have determines the fate of your soul.
If you receive the knowledge that Jesus Christ, the only Son of the Father died for your sins, and receive Him as Saviour and Lord of your life, the Spirit that is within you will grow great in the knowledge of God, and your soul shall spend eternity with Christ.
What does the Bible say concerning the Soul?
1. The soul can love; Deuteronomy 6:5 ...And thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
2. The soul can be joyful; Psalm 35:9 ...And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
3. The soul can hunger; Proverbs 6:30 ...Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry.
4. The soul has an appetite; Isaiah 29:8 ...it shall be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or when a thirsty man dreameth, and behold, he drinketh; but he awaken, and behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite...
5. A soul can be refused; Psalm 77:2 ...In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: the sore ran in the night, ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.
6. The soul can be grieved; Judges 10:16 ...And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the Lord: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
7. Soul can trust; Psalm 57:1 ...Be merciful unto me, O, God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge,...
8. Soul can be full of troubles; Psalm 88:3 ...For my soul is full of trouble:..
9. Soul can be afflicted; Psalm 143:12 ...And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
10. Soul can praise; Psalm 146:1 ...Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.
11. Soul can be chastened; Psalm 69:10 ...When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting,...
12. Soul can be vexed; Psalm 6:3 ...My soul is sore vexed: but thou, O Lord how long?
If you read the book of Psalms, you will see many other feelings the soul has.
You are in control of your soul. Like whether you send it to Heaven or Hell.
The soul lives on in heaven or hell.
You soul is entrusted to you by God.
Protect that Soul !!
Your body is a place for a soul to walk around.
The soul of a person is the part that feels emotions, etc.
Proof that the Soul is immortal
1 Peter 3:4 ...But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible,
St. Matthew 10:28 ...And fear not them which kill the body, but are able to kill the soul...
2 Corinthians 4:16 ...For which we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:18 ...While we look not at things which are seen, but at things which are not seen: for the things that are seen are temporal; but the things that are seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 5:18 ...We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
John 3:15 ...That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Soul lost and saved
St. Mark 8:36 ...For what shall it profit if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul.
Hebrews 10:39 ...but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Soul after death
Soul leaves the body after death
Revelation 6:9 ...And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the alter the souls of them that were slain...
Soul is conscious after death; Can see, speak, feel. Read St. Luke 16:22-26 (Soul of rich man talking to beggar man) Soul lives on in heaven or hell.
Deuteronomy 11:26 - 28
Verse 26 ..Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
Verse 27 ..A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
Verse 28 ..And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
In the Bible, when the Children of Israel were obedient to God, he blessed them exceedingly, when they did not, the enemy overtook them. When they called upon God, He delivered them and set them free.
This does not mean, however, that every time a Christian has troubles, that he has committed sins. We must have that very clear in our minds.
Many troubles come in Christian's lives, that they were not the cause of. The Bible says, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of all of them.
