My Child Who Knows My Voice

My child, My love, My precious child,

My joy, My heart, My dawn,

Complete in Christ, thy beauty seen,

As the dew that sprinkleth upon the lawn.

Now who can know the joy ahead,

Save the Savior, the King of Kings,

He lifteth up thy ever hungry heart,

And giveth thee great joy instead.

Now who can know His tenderness?

Now who can know His love?

Save him who is forsaken and tried.

And now knoweth He hears from above.

Rejoice My child, My precious one,

For whom I died upon the cross,

For now horizons thou shalt see.

And never suffer loss.

There Are Many Sunshine's

There are many sunshine's in the world, to help bring peace within.

The sunshine's of God's love is one,

And when children's laughter rings.

Then there's the sunshine of the touch,

That speaks so loud and clear,

Now no matter how black the day, thou shalt have no fear.

Now I turn my ear in wonderment,

Thinking on these heavenly words.

Could it be my Savior heard me and makes my soul content?

For I know the sunshine of His love,

Reaches further than can know,

For God speaks forth in time of need,

And brings my heart a glow.

God Makes A Better You

When the sky's above are blue,

And there's joy within the heart,

How easy it appears, to not behold the dark.

When peace is round about, and joy on every side,

I reach my hand to Jesus, and in Him I do abide.

When darkness grows around us,

And doubts and fears assail us,

How many are the days of tears,

And how are our strength doth fail us.

But when the veil is lifted

And the light comes shinning through,

We see that with the darkness and the dawn,

God makes a better you.
